What it counts that a phone call misses
The old surface has to go
If there's a drive to lift, the tool asks what it is. It works out the weight of waste and allows for a skip or grab lorry.
The ground changes the work
Slopes, tree roots and soft ground all cost more to deal with. The tool adds them per square metre.
Where the rain goes
The tool asks where the water will drain and adds a drainage channel if one is needed. It also adds a planning note for paved front gardens.
Tight access costs more
A narrow gate or a carry through the house is added to the price as a set amount.
It sits on your site, in your colours.
Fewer wasted visits
The customer knows the price range before you measure up.

Driveways: common questions
Can it price different surfaces?
Yes. Block paving, tarmac, resin bound, gravel, natural stone and concrete are all on the list.
Does it include steps, gate posts and a dropped kerb?
Yes. Customers can add them, and each is priced on your rates.
Does it deal with drainage?
Yes. It asks where the rainwater will go and adds a drainage channel when one is needed.
What about very small areas?
You can set a smallest area. Anything below it isn't priced, and the customer is asked to send their details so you can come back to them.
Does it allow for travel?
Your customer's price doesn't include travel. If a job is beyond your free miles, your enquiry email shows roughly how far, and about what each visit's travel costs at your rate, so you can allow for it.
Am I tied to the price?
No. It's a guide from your rates. You confirm the price once you've seen the job.
