What it counts that a phone call misses
Old solid walls must breathe
The tool asks how old the house is. For an older house it prices lime render, and the insulation tool recommends mineral wool.
Old render may stay or go
The customer says if the walls are bare, have sound render to render over, or have old render to hack off. Each is priced differently.
Scaffold goes with the wall
Scaffold is priced by the wall face it stands against and the height of the house, as its own line.
Windows and doors add work
Insulation brings every window and door out too. The insulation tool counts them and prices the reveals and sills.
It sits on your site, in your colours.

Rendering & wall insulation: common questions
Can it price render and insulation?
Yes. There is a rendering tool and an external wall insulation tool. Each asks its own questions.
Does my customer have to measure the walls?
No exact figures needed. For render they enter an area, or the wall width and height. The insulation tool suggests an area from the house and storeys, and they can change it.
Can it price rendering over old render?
Yes. The customer says if the old render is sound enough to go over, or has to come off. Each is priced differently.
Does it allow for travel?
Your customer's price doesn't include travel. If a job is beyond your free miles, your enquiry email shows roughly how far, and about what each visit's travel costs at your rate, so you can allow for it.
Am I tied to the price?
No. It's a guide from your rates. You confirm the price once you've seen the job.
