What it counts that a phone call misses
Every run on its own
A rear fence and a side fence are separate runs. The customer gives each a length, and can choose a different type and height for each.
Old posts set in concrete
Digging out concreted posts to reuse the same spot takes much longer. The tool asks if the new posts can go in fresh holes instead.
Height and planning
Each fence type is sold in set heights, and the tool offers just those. It adds a planning note for fences over 2 metres, or when a trellis topper takes the total over.
The ground changes the dig
Slopes, hard ground and tree roots are each added per metre of fence.
It sits on your site, in your colours.

Fencing: common questions
Can it price a different fence on each side?
Yes. The customer can choose one type and height for the whole job, or a different one for each run.
Does it include gates?
Yes. The customer picks the gate type, the grade and how many. Driveway gates can have electric automation added.
Does it price removing the old fence?
Yes. It asks what the old posts are and adds removal and disposal per metre.
Does it mention planning permission?
Yes. It adds a note for fences over 2 metres, or a 1.8 metre fence with a trellis topper. Your customer's council decides.
Does it allow for travel?
Your customer's price doesn't include travel. If a job is beyond your free miles, your enquiry email shows roughly how far, and about what each visit's travel costs at your rate, so you can allow for it.
Am I tied to the price?
No. It's a guide from your rates. You confirm the price once you've seen the job.
