What it counts that a phone call misses
Doors and windows come off
Nobody tiles a doorway. The tool takes doors and windows off the wall area before it prices.
Tricky areas are counted
Feature walls, alcoves, window ledges, curved surfaces, wet room tanking and tiling over underfloor heating are each priced.
Old tiles have to come off
The tool asks if wall tiles, floor tiles or both need removing, and prices it by the square metre.
Floors bring doors and joins
New tile is usually thicker, so doors may need trimming. Where tile meets another floor, a bar covers the join. The tool counts both.
It sits on your site, in your colours.

Tiling: common questions
Can it price walls and floors together?
Yes. The customer can choose walls, floor or both.
What if the customer supplies the tiles?
They say who is supplying. If they bring their own, the tool prices the fitting only.
What about very small jobs?
You can set a size below which the tool shows no price. The customer sends their details and you price it yourself.
Does it allow for travel?
Your customer's price doesn't include travel. If a job is beyond your free miles, your enquiry email shows roughly how far, and about what each visit's travel costs at your rate, so you can allow for it.
Am I tied to the price?
No. It's a guide from your rates. You confirm the price once you've seen the job.
